One thing I always pack on a trip
I always make sure I pack a collapsable water bottle. Long days spent out in the sun exploring new places can be tiring and it is very easy to dehydrate. Having a collapsable water bottle means I can pack it away easily when not using it and it takes up a small amount of my precious luggage space.
What are your favourite types of trips to plan?
My favourite trips to plan are for safari newbies. I get so absorbed in the excitement of the unknown and cannot wait to hear their stories when they arrive back home.

My first African adventure took me on a two-week journey through the stunning landscapes of Tanzania. It’s impossible to choose just one favourite moment from that trip, but flying into the Serengeti was a highlight for me. As the plane descended, I was greeted by the sight of the vast plains stretching endlessly beneath me. Even before landing, I caught my first glimpses of giraffes and zebras wandering in their natural habitat—it was absolutely breathtaking.
Another highlight was my time in Stone Town, Zanzibar. This vibrant town, bursting with life and culture, is a must-see for anyone visiting the island. From the winding streets filled with history to the smells of the local spice markets, Stone Town left a lasting impression on me.
But the crowning moment of the trip had to be witnessing the Great Migration. Seeing thousands of wildebeests and zebras on their annual journey, with the sound of hooves pounding the earth and seeing animals moving in single file toward the Maasai Mara, was unlike anything I had ever experienced. It was a life-changing moment that I will never forget.
