This family-friendly safari combines three of Zambia’s highlights: the game-rich South Luangwa National Park; beautiful Lower Zambezi National Park on the Zambezi river & the exciting Victoria Falls. All with handpicked lodges that welcome children.
Begin in South Luangwa at Nkwali Camp, where young kids can enjoy nature in a safe and engaging way while parents and older kids explore the park’s incredible wildlife. Continue to the Lower Zambezi for four nights at Baines’ River Camp, with river cruises, canoeing, and game drives. End with two nights at Victoria Falls, staying at Waterberry Lodge with relaxed activities for the whole family.

The basic Zambia Family safari tour assumes one family with two children. But if you have a larger family party, an attractive alternative is to upgrade to one of the Safari Lodges of Zambia such as Luangwa Safari House in the South Luangwa park and/or Chongwe River House in the Lower Zambezi area.
Tailor-made Options:
If you have more time to spend we recommend adding a third night at Victoria Falls as there are so many interesting excursions on offer. Please note that the safari may be routed in a different order depending on the flight connections for your particular dates, as the direct flights between Lower Zambezi and the rest of Zambia are only on certain days. and also only in peak season. (The alternative is to route via Lusaka which is not too much of an inconvenience.)
