Overview
You enjoy a private transfer from Cape Town up to the Cederberg to Cederberg Ridge Wilderness Lodge, which is your base to explore the varied delights of this unique wilderness region of mountains, rock art, rooibos tea and complete tranquility and wilderness.
You stay on a Full Board and Activity basis, whilst enjoying delicious food, hospitality and adventure. Various included excursions are on offer: from walking trails to mountain biking. From guided rock art to sunset boat cruises on the lagoon, and from Cederberg tours to flowers & farm tours.
At the lodge, you can relax around the pool or pamper yourself with a spa treatment, complete with sauna and steam room. Enjoy star-gazing at the fire-pit in the evening.
The lodge overlooks the panorama of the Cederberg Mountains with its unique raw, rugged beauty. But this stylish retreat is within easy reach of Cape Town and the Winelands (2½ hours scenic transfer). It offers the authentic ambience of a modern African farmhouse with much use of wood, natural materials and earthy tones. Yet the striking steel windows bring a contemporary touch. With 9 spacious rooms and suites, restaurant with a view, large swimming pool, and indigenous gardens flowing into the veld, Cederberg Ridge offers tranquility and style in the midst of wilderness.

This morning you enjoy a private transfer to the Cederberg (2½ hours). On arrival you check into Cederberg Ridge Wilderness Lodge for 3 nights on a FBA basis. Your hosts will then help you to plan your programme of activities.
Choose between guided excursions into the High Cederberg, to San rock paintings or to Rooibos tea farms. Enjoy guided walks on the farm or in the Cederberg Wilderness Reserve. Take a fascinating tour of the citrus and grape farm which lies adjacent to the lodge. In between activities, you can enjoy the facilities of the lodge with its indigenous gardens flowing into the natural fynbos, its stunning mountain vistas and the superb food.
Perhaps after a final morning activity and brunch, you are transferred back to Cape Town. (Note for a small extra charge, you can also be dropped off in the Winelands.)
