Serengeti National Park * Volcanoes National Park

This is a simply 6-night fly-in safari which enables you to experience two of the highlights of East Africa: the Serengeti Wildebeest Migration as well as tracking the endangered Mountain Gorillas in the Volcanoes National Park of Rwanda. Ideally we would love you to add some additional nights to experience other facets of these two countries. But if time is short, then this is a perfect starting point. You can then easily add on a few nights of R&R in Tanzania at the start if you wish.

Tanzania Migration & Gorilla Safari (6 nights) at a Glance:

• Fly from Kilimanjaro to the Serengeti National Park. On arrival, you are met and transferred to your camp for 3 nights on safari with the migration.
• Which camp will depend on when you are travelling and thus where the migration is most likely to be found.
• Then you fly directly from the Serengeti to Kigali and transfer by road to Volcanoes National Park for your gorilla trekking adventure for 3 nights.
  • Enjoy Golden Monkey Trekking as well as the infamous Gorillas.
• Return to Kigali in time for your onward flight arrangements.

The lush slopes of these volcanoes provide a dramatic natural setting for one of the most thrilling and memorable wildlife experiences: seeing the mountain gorilla in its natural habitat. Roughly half of the world’s wild population of mountain gorillas reside on the Rwandan slopes of the Virungas massif.
