Overview
The Simbavati Wildlife & Walking Safari offers the perfect balance of exhilaration and serenity, combining a luxurious lodge safari with an immersive walking experience in the heart of the Greater Kruger wilderness.
Begin with three nights at Simbavati Hilltop Camp, a refined tented lodge with sweeping views over the Timbavati River. Each suite comes with its own deck, sleeping tsala for afternoon siestas and private plunge pool. Here, morning and evening game drives reveal the wide range of wildlife, including the Big Five, as well as the timeless beauty of the bushveld. A trained guide and tracker team will lead an informative, thrilling, and unforgettable walk in the wild.
Then slow down the rhythm with two unforgettable nights at Simbavati Trails Camp, a solar-powered wilderness retreat designed for digital detox and deep connection with nature. Guided by an expert ranger and tracker team, youβll set out on foot each day to explore this wild and varied landscape β from riverine forests and rocky ridges to open savanna. Itβs an experience that engages all the senses and redefines what a safari can be. Here you enjoy early morning and afternoon game walks before relaxing around the campfire. There's a charming small plunge pool and deck for cooling off in the afternoons.
