Palm River Hotel

This is a relatively new hotel built in a plantation style on the river banks with 50 rooms Incl 4 exec suites and 4 Family suites

Standard rooms: Good size with a separate bathroom with shower only, decent sized room. All with balcony, air- con, ceiling fan, mini-bar, safe etc
Executive rooms: Double the size, sitting room and bedroom, dressing area behind the bedroom, bathroom behind with bath, double vanity and double shower, balcony
Family rooms: 2 identical bedrooms both ensuite sf Executive suite bedroom, sharing a sitting room. Good option. One with king bed, one with twins (separate). Note the twins cannot be put together (so note if two couples travelling together). Can add an extra bed in sitting room for third child.

The rooms and bedroom wing felt very hotel-like rather than a lodge. This may or may not appeal to you.

Plus points:
• River location
• Can walk to the boat cruises as they all depart from that location, also other river options like jet boats
• Love the breakfast/dining areas with a plantation style feel in the decor
