Overview
Namib Outpost is set deep in the 7 000 hectare Desert Homestead Nature Reserve, adjacent to the Unesco World Heritage Namib Desert. It offers relaxed hospitality in a natural setting, picturesquely situated at the foot of a mountain. The impressive panoramic views can be enjoyed from the 12 chalets or from the main house with restaurant, lounge and pool area set at the foot of a mountain. On the wide open plains, the occasional game, including cheetah, may be seen roaming the endless grasslands.
Namib Outpost offers guests various activities, including excursions to Sossusvlei as well as guided hikes, horse safaris, balloon safaris, or sundowner drives.
Each chalet is a retreat that allows a true encounter with the desert, shielded from view from other houses. The 10 suites are all 50-60 sqm in size whilst the Family suite has two bedrooms and a pool (75 sqm) and the Superior suite is a majestic 100sqm in size with its own plunge pool. All have air-conditioning, mini-bar, safe, mosquito net, desk and tea/coffee facilities. Outside there is a private shaded terrace with loungers.

Suite

Each Suite offers luxury and comfort with magnificent desert views. Suites include air conditioning, desk, safe, bathroom amenities, shower only, hairdryer, coffee and tea facilities, refrigerator, mini bar and balcony/terrace.

Superior Suite

The Superior Suite itself stands apart and offers a luxurious experience of the tranquillity and vastness of the Namib. The modern and refined interior completes the appealing appearance. The Superior Suite has air-conditioning, sitting area, desk, safe, en-suite facilities (shower only), hairdryer, coffee and tea making facilities, refrigerator, mini-bar, plunge pool and balcony/terrace. Family Suite

The family suite offers the same comfort as the neighbouring suites and has an additional bedroom with 2 single beds. (75 sqm in size). The Family Suite offers private shaded decks with a view. The Suite with a thatched roof is air conditioned, offers space or a family of 4, a double bed and two single beds.
