Accommodation
Mombo Camp was rebuilt in 2018 and is situated on Mombo Island at the northern tip of Chief's Island and is within the Moremi Game Reserve. The camp offers true exclusivity and privacy in the Okavango, coupled with abundant big game, arguably the best in Botswana. Mombo camp is situated beneath a shady canopy of huge trees on the edge of a broad floodplain. The facilities include 8 large comfortably furnished tents, all with en-suite facilities, sitting room, indoor and outdoor showers, bathtub and private plunge pool. The dining room, pub, and living area overlook the open plain in front of the camp. Family accommodation is also available.
Activities at Mombo Camp
Activities at Mombo Camp include morning and afternoon game drives in open 4x4 Land Rovers. The game viewing in the area is excellent, and guests could see lion, leopard, buffalo, cheetah, wild dog, elephant, hyena, giraffe, wildebeest and zebra. Short midday foot trails may be undertaken if you would like to experience nature in close proximity.

Each spacious canvas suite is a private oasis. The suites comprise an indoor lounge area, separate bedroom and bathroom, indoor and outdoor showers, elegant copper bathtub, and an outdoor private sala with a double day bed, sunken couch, private plunge pool, and wrap-around veranda – a total immersion in the bush.
