The Hilton Labriz Resort is on a stunning island of virgin rainforest on the slopes of Mt Dauban, surrounded by white sandy beaches. The Hilton is the only luxury hotel on this private island s- one of the inner islands of the Seychelles. It offers the perfect romantic and relaxing getaway.
Silhouette, one of the inner islands of the Seychelles, is the third largest island after Mahe and Praslin. Once home to pirates and plantations, today over 90% percent of Silhouette is a national park. Rare species on the island include the giant tortoise, incense tree and the sheaf-tailed bat. Hilton Labriz Silhouette Resort is the only hotel here with a spectacular setting alongside 5km of soft powdery sand. Lush jungle opens onto white, sandy beaches with Mount Dauban towering overhead, its peak hidden in mist. Explore the island and enjoy guided nature tours to biking, fishing, sailing and five-star diving.
The hotel consists entirely of 111 private villas. All rooms feature TV, DVD player, wireless internet access, outdoor shower, double vanity, hairdryer, air-conditioning, minibar and tea/coffee facilities. Every villa has a private garden with rain shower and private terrace with stunning mountain or ocean views. Garden Villas (88m²) have a contemporary design. Outdoor showers offer views of spectacular Mount Dauban. Beach Villas (101m²) allow you to wake up to views of sunrise across the Indian Ocean. Tucked away in the jungle vegetation, these villas are close to Silhouette's white sand beach. For those seeking extra luxury, six of these Beach Villas feature a private plunge pool.
Deluxe Beachfront or Hillside Villas (185m²) offer the most luxurious Silhouette experience all with large private pools (6.5 x 3m) in a private garden. Each villa has a separate pavilion, ideal for en-suite spa treatments or a romantic dinner. The pavilions range in size from one bedroom villas which can take 2 children (or 3 adults) to the sumptuous Presidential Villas which can accommodate four adults and up to four children.
The Aquum spa is breathtaking - set on stilits over rock and emerging from the island jungle. Six mountainside treatment suites, raised on stilts, offer Creole-influenced spa therapies surrounded by lush tropical greenery.
Facilities at the Hilton Labriz Silhouette Resort include a swimming pool, fitness centre and a floodlit tennis court. Alternatively you can relax with a stroll around the giant tortoise sanctuary. Hilton Labriz Silhouette Resort also offers opportunities to explore mountain paths on foot, and it may even possible to arrange to meet the resident naturalist and marine biologist.
Activities at extra cost include:
Five-star National Geographic PADI dive centre with its own decompression chamber, Big-game fishing, Island excursions , Non-motorised watersports
Dining is diverse and world-class with a choice of six dining options. Café Dauban is the hotel’s main restaurant with an eclectic menu to suit many tastes. Grilled seafood is on offer amidst Japanese-inspired design at Teppanyaki, Japanese fushion dishes at Sakura; fine modern Italian cuisine at Portobello and freshly fired pizza at La Pizzeria.
Adjacent to the resort is the historic village of La Passe, established in the 19th century by the Dauban family – and, according to legend, purchased for a violin. The Dauban’s former home, a converted 1860 plantation house, is now open as Grann Kaz restaurant, serving authentic Seychellois Creole cuisine.
