The Hazendal Hotel offers 34 rooms and suites ranging from the 22 Superior rooms, to 9 Luxury Rooms as well as Junior Suites and Suites. There is also the exclusive use five-bedroom Hazendal Homestead on offer. Amenities include mini bar fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, air conditioning and patio with courtyard or lake views.

Rooms

Superior Rooms

Offering an impressive 42m² of private space, the 22 Superior Rooms all have private balconies with views of the landscaped courtyard and hotel pool. Superior Rooms can be set up as twin or double rooms, or as inter-leading rooms offering up to 11 family rooms ideal for multi-generational travelers. Fully-accessible rooms are available. Amenities include mini bar fridge, tea & coffee making facilities, air conditioning and patio with courtyard or lake views.

Luxury Rooms

The nine exquisite Luxury Rooms live up to their name, each with a private terrace, beautiful views over the dam waters and the Bottelary Hills, as well as tasteful décor and comfort-inspired finishes, including underfloor heating in the bathroom. Room sizes rare on average 50sqm.

Junior Suites

The two Junior Suites, each incredibly spacious at 70 m2 is opulent ‘abodes’ that look out over the dam and boast stunning views of the winelands beyond, all the way to the mountainous horizon. These vistas can be absorbed from the outdoor deck or private hot tub, which each suite features.

Presidential Suite

The Presidential-Style Suite measures 150 m2 and sleeps two with accommodation for four younger adults or a butler. Exquisite panoramic views add another special feature to this suite.

The Homestead

A charming, but elegant five-bedroom home, available exclusively for private-use bookings. The house is in the thatched Cape Dutch style and has been carefully restored to honour its 1790 roots. Use of The Homestead includes: breakfast, a stocked pantry, dedicated team of staff, a tasting experience in the Wine Lounge, a curated art tour and complimentary access to the Wonderful kids experience for children aged from five to 13.
