Hamiltons Tented Safari Camp offers a unique safari experience that is the epitome of luxury and privacy. Its ambience harks back to the early twentieth century when safaris were conducted with grace and style. It lies in a private concession in the north-central part of the Kruger National Park.
Six magnificent tents, complete with teak floorboards, mosquito nets, romantic slipper baths, as well as outdoor showers, all have a superb view of the seasonal river and some to the Ngwenyeni dam. Each tent has a radio, hairdryer, ceiling fan, air-conditioning and personal safe. They are linked to the main lodge by raised timber walkways amongst ancient Jackalberry trees.
The main lodge comprises an open tented lounge and dining room on wooden decks. Nearby a secluded swimming pool and viewing deck offer ultimate privacy.
Named after Colonel Hamilton who was instrumental in establishing the Kruger National Park, Hamiltons Tented Safari Camp has a fine tradition of luxury in true 'Out of Africa' style. Open vehicle safari, walking safaris and even seasonal Mokoro trips along the Ngwenyeni watercourse are all on offer.
