Constance Lemuria Resort is a stunning hotel and golf resort lying among palm groves at Anse Kerlan on the north-west coast of Praslin. Its combination of three pristine beaches, a championship golf course, luxurious accommodation and particularly good food is an absolute winner, especially in the beautiful natural setting of the Seychelles.
Constance Lemuria Resort is attractively and sensitively designed to blend into the hillside at Anse Kerlan, only a few minutes’ drive from the airport. The calm simplicity of the hotel welcomes you into a sense of tranquillity the moment you arrive. The main building is is utterly charming: a mix of natural materials suffused with light and views of pools or ocean in every direction. The main pool has three levels flowing from the hotel down to the sea and the fragrance of frangipani awakens your senses.
However, despite the luxury and scale of this 5 star resort, the environment has been left as natural as possible. Turtles still lay their eggs on the white sandy beaches of Anse Kerlan in complete tranquillity. Anse Gorgette has been ranked as one of the top 10 beaches in the world.
The 96 Suites , eight Villas and Presidential Villa each have a sea view, framed by tropical foliage, and the décor is sophisticated and restful in all. The suites all lie between the two beaches just 15 metres from the shore. All rooms are air-conditioned and have bath, shower, dressing area, minibar, telephone, tea/coffee facilities, satellite television, Mac mini with DVD/CD connection, complimentary high speed internet connection, safe and hair dryer. Every room has a terrace or balcony.
The 88 Junior Suites (52m²) are constructed in wood, stone and pink granite in a luxurious yet minimalist style. The Senior Suites (115m²) are massive with a separate sitting room, bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and separate shower room and double size terrace.
The eight luxurious villas are serviced by a villa master and enjoy all the facilities of the hotel. Each has direct beach access, a private garden with a sunken alfresco dining area next to your private pool.
There’s a spectacular swimming pool on three levels at Lemuria. A wide range of land and water sports are on offer including a PADI dive school, 40 ft catamaran, tennis, spa and of course the championship 18 hole golf course. The Kids Club for children between 4 to 11 years offers a range of supervised activities, both indoors and out.
The Spa de Constance & Shiseido Spa offer a wide range of treatments including Reflexology, Shiatsu, Ayurveda and Aromatherapy massages. There’s also a sauna, steam room and fully equipped gym.
Lemuria Golf Course is the only 18 hole championship golf course in the Seychelles and hotel guests enjoy complimentary green fees. With immaculate greens and views over three stunning beaches, this Par 70 course could be the most scenic one you’ve ever played. It offers a great challenge to all levels of players, professionals and amateurs alike. This spectacular course winds its way through the forest between the two enchanting beaches of Small Kerlan Cove and the Grand Kerlan Cove. Palm trees fringe the first 12 holes, allowing the light to intermittently filter through. From the 13th hole, the course extends over the steep slopes of a thickly forested hill, with breathtaking vistas over the Indian Ocean and the surrounding islands. However it is the 15th hole which is the one that will stick in your memory over one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, Anse Georgette.

The Lemuria has 3 excellent restaurants and various bars. Legend is the resort’s main restaurant offering buffet dinners to suit all tastes as well as themed evenings. No prizes for guessing the main orientation of The Seahouse, a French seafood restaurant overlooking the golf course. The Beach bar is a second seafood restaurant with a creole touch as well as an extensive a la carte menu.
