Fly into Blantyre on either Saturday or Wednesday. From there connect to the luxurious Mkulumadzi Lodge in the Majete Wildlife Reserve which lies south of Blantyre. The Majete Wildlife Reserve is a vast region of mature woodland and granite hills, picturesque river valleys and dense forest. It is home to the elusive black rhino, along with elephant, buffalo, nyala, sable, eland and hartebeest. Stay 3 nights on safari here enjoying game drives, bush walks and even scenic hikes to beautiful spots within the reserve. Then you transfer to the lovely Liwonde National Park for a second safari experience.

Next you transfer by road to the southern shores of Lake Malawi where you stay at the luxurious Pumulani Lodge for 3 nights. Pumulani Lodge is the only luxury beach lodge within the Lake Malawi National Park. The lodge is perched on a hillside, giving fantastic views over the clear waters of the lake.
