This 13 night Southern Africa Culture & Wildlife guided safari tour (Premier or Luxury) is ideal for those who are keen to get a well-rounded perspective on Southern Africa. Not just the scenic highlights and stunning game-viewing. But also an insight into its history, culture and how various groups within society live. Overall it is an immensely enjoyable safari tour.
You begin with 4 nights in Cape Town. This is ideal for you to explore the sights and sounds of the city centre. Whilst in Cape Town, you enjoying a walking tour of the city, a visit to the Uthando townships projects and a scenic tour of the Cape Peninsula. There is also some free time when you can head up Table Mountain by cable car. Or explore the waterfront and the street markets of Greenmarket Square. We've also included a fantastic Foodie tour in the Winelands as well as a visit to the wine estates and towns of the Cape Winelands
Next you head to South Africa's foremost safari destination, the Kruger National Park. You spend 3 nights on safari in the renowned Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve. Then you head to Johannesburg, the commercial capital of South Africa for 2 nights. Many people have pre-conceived ideas about Johannesburg. So its good to see it for yourself and make your own mind up. Here again, you have a choice of tours. Most people opt for a full day tour of Soweto, the Apartheid Museum and the city highlights. (But you can also visit the Cradle of Humankind instead combining this either the Apartheid Museum OR Soweto).
Finally you fly up to Victoria Falls. Here you enjoy the majesty of the Falls as well as a sunset cruise and a traditional African dinner at The Boma, and an optional Township lunch. There's also time to enjoy various optional excursions.

Note: Your touring is mostly private in Cape Town but some of the specialist excursions such as the Uthando projects tour or the Bites & Sites foodie walking tour are scheduled
We appreciate that not everyone has 13 nights to spare. So we can also take out Victoria Falls to make this an 11 night itinerary.
The base itinerary shows 4 to 4+ star accommodation (with the equivalent game lodge). But we give the price with Luxury accommodation as well. See suggestion HERE.
The price excludes domestic and regional flights – as these are subject to change. These will be added at quote stage, but you should allow approx $750 to $800 for all 4 flights.
However if you opt against including Victoria Falls, the 2 domestic flights will be approx $350 to $400 per person.
Meals as specified (Welcome Dinner, then B&B in Cape Town, Winelands, Johannesburg and Victoria Falls), Fully Inclusive on safari, private transfers and tours with all entrance fees included, conservation levies and park fees. Note the transfers and activities in Victoria Falls are on a scheduled basis.
