This South Africa on Foot Walking Tour encompasses some of the best walking areas in South Africa, namely Cape Town, Hermanus, the Garden Route and ending with the magnificent Drakensberg Mountains in KwaZulu Natal.
Our route offers a diversity of walks – from a hike on Table Mountain, to walks along the coast, up dramatic river gorges and in glorious mountain country. This walking tour comprises two separate parts which you can take as a whole, or book individually.

We recommend the late summer/autumn months of mid February to April and the spring and early summer months of September to November.

We run this as a private tour and price it for 2 people or 4 people. Contact us for a quote if you are a larger group of people. This tour is subject to walking guide availability as there is quite a shortage of experienced walking guides in South Africa.
NEW: We have added a night in between the Garden Route section and the Drakensberg section as there is no longer (currently) a morning flight from Port Elizabeth (or George) to Durban Airport. So we need to take the afternoon flight and stay overnight. However we think this makes it a more relaxing tour overall.

This is a set tour using specific camps. However many tours can be adapted. Chat to us about your options. It excludes international flights but includes an estimate for all domestic or regional flights within the tour.
