Discover Botswana Safari

This relaxing Discover Botswana safari doesn’t have you flying endlessly from one lodge to the next. You spend a relaxing 9 nights in three prime safari areas. The elephant-studded Linyanti Swamps or Moremi Game Reserve. Next is the beautiful Okavango Delta and ending with either the Central Kalahari or the Makgadikagdi/Nxai pans.

So you really see both the watery element of a Botswana safari as well as the dry desert areas of either the Kalahari or the Saltpans (depending on which option you go for.)

With this Discover Botswana safari you can choose between Ker & Downey camps (our base case option),  Desert & Delta (for a less expensive option) or opt for an Upgrade with some of the Natural Selection camps such as Sable Alley, Dukes Camp and San Camp. All three safari outfits have excellent camps, but differ slightly in location, especially when it comes to the Central Kalahari or Saltpan locations, Chat to us about your requirements!

The Botswana Ker & Downey Safari Camps:

Okuti Camp (Moremi Game Reserve) - 3 nights
Kanana Camp (Okavango Delta)- 3 nights
Dinaka Camp (Kalahari Desert) - 3 nights

You first fly from Maun into the game-rich Moremi Game Reserve or Linyanti Swamps. Next you fly into the Okavango Delta for three nights at either Kanana Camp or Kwara Camp. Here you enjoy the varied safari activities for which it is famous – game drives, game walks, mokoro excursions, boating and birding. Your final destination is the central Kalahari and Dinaka camp.

Another similar option is to use the camps of Kwando: Kwanda Splash, Kwando Lebala in the Linyanti and either Nxai Camp (in the Nxai salt pans) or Tau Pan camp in the Kalahari Desert. Please contact us for a quotation for this option.

Desert & Delta Safari Version (Less expensive) :

Camp Savute or Camp Moremi - 3 nights
Camp Okavango or Xugana (Okavango Delta) - 3 nights
Camp Leroo La tau (Boteti river, near Makgadikgadi salt pans) - 3 nights

Note: You can actually choose any of their camps for more or less this price. So you can opt to have two camps in the Delta if you prefer. As you are staying at Leroo la Tau for 3 nights you can either opt to have a sleep-out on the saltpans or take a full day safari to Nxai salt pan.

Upgrade Option :
