The relaxing rascals family self-drive trip in South Africa is ideal for the South African summer, spring and autumn. Try to avoid the wetter Cape winter months (May to August) in the Cape for this tour. (We have other itineraries which suit this time of year better.)

As the area is malaria-free, the relaxing rascals holiday is ideal for children of all ages. Please note that this sample tour is based on a family with children under 12 years sharing one family room or a family suite. If you would like your children to have their own room. If you have time, you may want to add a third night on safari. It all depends on your interests.
