Helicopter Flights over the Falls – Zambia or Zimbabwe

The helicopter flights over Victoria Falls (colloquially known as the Flight of Angels) are a wonderful way to see the full majesty of the Victoria Falls – especially at low water times. You swoop over the Zambezi River and hover over the thundering Falls for a perfect photographic opportunity. The 12-15 minute helicopter flight will take you over the Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River.

The longer 25-30 minute flight will also take you over the Victoria Falls. Then you have an exhilarating ride down into Batoka Gorge, along the Zambezi to Rapid 26 and over Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park for a spot of game-viewing by air.

Helicopter rides seem to be a little cheaper on the Zimbabwe side.

The helicopter flights over Victoria Falls begin at 8am and continue until last light.

Please note: There is a minimum requirement of 4 people for the helicopter rides. It is very popular. So invariably if you are 2 people, they have another 2 people booked for the same day. But because of the 4 people minimum, the exact time of your ride may only be confirmed nearer to your visit.

The price below is for the 12-15 minute helicopter on the Zimbabwe side. There is also a government levy of $15 per person payable at time of the ride.
