Africa Travel Specialist

Tash joined Cedarberg in late 2016. She left the Cape Town City life for the beautiful coastal town of Lamberts Bay.
As a family, Tash travelled a lot and got to experience some of South Africa's beautiful locations. Her parents liked
building strong family bonds by experiencing new places, and that is where the love for travel and exploring started.

After school, Tash studied photography, intending to go into Wildlife Rehabilitation. Life took its turns and the move to Lamberts Bay saw Tash getting certified in event planning and hotel management. It's with this blend of exceptional service and love for travel that she found her way to Cedarberg Africa. She loves helping clients to plan that once-in-a-lifetime holiday to Africa.

Tash loves the outdoors and exploring and if she can enjoy it with my close friends and family even better! Tash is also a passionate animal lover. She approaches everything in life with a good sense of humour, lots of laughs, a glass of wine and her Australian Shepard at her feet.

The first thing I do before visiting a new destination is research and reading! That way I can familiarise myself
with the area, the birdlife and the wildlife, especially if the area is well known for something specific (like the Kgalagadi’s black-maned lions or the tree-climbing lions of Tanzania &Uganda)

One thing you always pack on a Safari trip

My camera of course!
I never remember the sunscreen or hat, ( terrible, I know!)but I don’t go anywhere without my camera. Oh yes, and a good pair of binoculars is a must!

What is your favourite indulgence to enjoy at a lodge or hotel?

If there is a deck with a river view or water hole, that is where you will find me!

Kgalagadi National Park in the Kalahari

The Kalahari and the Kgalagadi Park offers superb wildlife: desert-adapted black-maned Kalahari lions and cheetah follow the plains game.

Savuti

The Savuti area is a rugged wilderness region in the south-west of Chobe National Park - famous for its excellent year-round game viewing & prides of lion.

Etosha National Park

Etosha National Park is one of Africa’s premier wildlife reserves: plenty of big game against the scenic backdrop of Etosha’s salt pans, pink with flamingos in the wet season.
